On the morning of October 30, Dr. Fu Jie of the Zhejiang University was invited to give a lecture entitled "efficient preparation of some biomass-based popular chemicals and fuels" in the conference room on the third floor of the Chemical Engineering Hall of our university, the report was presided over by Professor Liu Lei of the College of Chemical and chemical engineering。
In the report, Dr. Fu talked about China's energy demand and consumption status, in which the efficient use of biomass resources to produce mass chemicals can alleviate China's energy crisis. A series of high efficient catalysts / catalysts for in Situ hydrogenation, decarboxylation, decarboxylation, condensation, oxidation and pyrolysis of biomass were designed, prepared and screened by Dr. Fu Jie and his team, a new method based on decarboxylation and in-situ hydrogenation for zero hydrogen consumption conversion of low-grade oils was developed, and 5-HMF furfural was used to prepare 2,5-dimethylfuran and Furan dicarboxylic acid, (LIGNOCELLULOSIC) , such as the method of high-efficient preparation of aromatic hydrocarbons by catalytic pyrolysis.
After the report, Dr. Fu Jie had a heated discussion and exchange with the teachers and students, patiently answered the questions raised by the teachers and students, and discussed the experimental methods and the challenges encountered in the experiment. Fu Jie, phd, associate professor, professor, has long been engaged in directed chemical conversion of biomass, high efficient catalytic systems for long chain alkanes, methyl lactate, Furan dicarboxylic acid, aromatics and other popular chemicals / fuels have been developed. He has presided over more than 20 scientific research projects, such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Outstanding Youth Project of Zhejiang Natural Science Foundation, the cooperation project of Boeing Company, Sinopec Horizontal, etc. . He has published more than 90 academic papers, including 59 SCI papers, including Angewchem Int ED, Energy Environ Sci, ACS Catal, Green Chem, J Catal, Chem Mater, J Mater Chem a and other periodicals, and granted more than 20 national invention patents.
